The Longboat Harbour Yacht Club Committee, is a committee of the Longboat Harbour Owners’ Association, Inc. This committee has been appointed by the Board of Directors of the Condominium with the authority and responsibility to manage the docks and other boating facilities of the Condominium and to conduct social activities and administer the Yacht Club.
The Committee shall be responsible for maintaining the docks and allied boating facilities and regulating the use thereof for the enhancement of the property.
The Yacht Club is a separate social club administered by the Committee, and the Yacht Club is comprised of members of the Condominium community who qualify for membership in the Yacht Club, who share interests in boating and other water-related recreational activities, water quality and safety, and have an interest in preserving and protecting the harbor and the improvements in the harbor.
Full Club membership includes the owner of a qualified boat, kayak or paddle board who is also an owner in the Condominium. Full Membership also includes owner’s spouse or partner. Condominium owners who do not own a boat, kayak or paddle board and Condominium renters may become Associate or Social members of the Yacht Club by the payment of an annual fee to be set by the Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
Longboat Harbour has boat docks and racks for kayaks and paddle boards available for rent. If you want to rent a dock or a rack you must fill out and return the rental agreements below along with payment. See the agreements for details and the rules that must be followed. The forms are type-in-the-blank that can be downloaded, then filled out, saved and attached to an email.
