Recreation Committee - This Committee coordinates and organizes a wide range of social activities. The co-chairs of the recreation committee are Richard & Karen Pashkow.

Art Studio- Donna Birnbaum & Pam Falcone
The studio has space for stone and wood sculpture, wood carving, painting, and mixed media. In season groups meet Saturday and Monday mornings 9-12 but studio is available for use every day. Donna 941 383-8332

Book n Buddies
We meet every 2 weeks at 7 PM on Wednesdays on Zoom for book discussions and suggestions. Click on the link for the 2021 reading list and contact information to get a Zoom invitation.

Bingo - Ken and Maryann Simpson
On Tuesday evenings at 7pm from February 22 to March 29, 2022 you will find many of the residents of Longboat Harbour in the Community Hall enjoying the ten games of Bingo. Cost, 1 Card $2, 2 Cards $3,3 Cards $4, 4 Cards $5. Must be played by the same person.

Boats, Docks, Kayak Racks and Yacht Club Bill Coughlin
Boat slips are available for fees between $350 and $825/per year depending on location, services and time of payment.  Kayak racks are $125/year subject to availability. Follow the link above or contact the Dock Master for details and to make arrangements.

Dance Aerobics - Connie Haubert
Monday-Friday at 9:15 AM in the Community Room. A fitness program using recorded aerobic programs.

Exercise with Connie
LBH is offering exercise classes in the rec room Monday thru Friday from 8:30 until about 9:00. On M T TH & F we use YouTube & walk about 3 miles with Leslie Samsone. On Wednesday we do Zumba for Seniors with Crazy Cindy!!! We have a good group, it's casual, fun & socially distanced. Join us by just showing up.

Ladies of Longboat Gretchen Burns
The Ladies of Longboat, formerly known as the Harbourettes, meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month-the first at 1pm and the third at 7pm in the rec hall.
The women of the community select the occasional programs, lunches, workshops and field trips for these meetings. All women residents of LBH are welcomed to attend.

Men's Club - Bill Coughlin
Where can you find wonderful friends, an enjoyable lunch, interesting speakers, great prizes, and spirited contests? If you said The LBH Men's Club you are correct. 

The guest speaker at the April meeting was new LBK Town manager Howard Tipton. Some of Howard's top points were:
1,000 new residents enter Florida every day.
Florida is the 17th largest economy in the world Top issues on LBK Resident survey are Traffic, property insurance and Red Tide
Our sea is rising 1/3 "/year
Our LBK GMD underground cable project will be complete in August and will come in under budget
St Regis project should be complete in June 2024
Plan to convert our 8' sidewalks into 12' trail

Tennis / Pickle Ball- Ken Comeforo
Tennis players of all skills, male and female, enjoy the competition in a range of events organized by this committee that celebrates the season's end with a tournament and party for its members.

Water Exercise Pam O'Halloran Blevins
