An evacuation order has been issued as of 10 AM today. Access to the island will close at noon tomorrow, October 8th. We urge anyone still on the island to evacuate by this time.
Residents are advised to turn off electrical breakers and main natural gas valves. The water supply will be shut off at 10 AM tomorrow.
Town offices will be closed until further notice, but a team is in place to answer phone lines for any inquiries from 6A-6P at 941-316-1999
Please follow all safety instructions issued by Emergency Management Officials and stay safe.

Urgent Hurricane Milton Evacuation Notice for the Town of Longboat Key
An imminent threat from Hurricane Milton has prompted an immediate evacuation order.
Critical Information:
- Hurricane Milton is expected to bring a life-threatening storm surge of up to 12 feet and 5-15 inches of rain.
- Evacuation Deadline: Noon on Tuesday (or earlier if possible).
- For evacuation purposes Longboat Pass Bridge is open for evacuation purposes but closed for incoming traffic. Shelters are open in both Manatee and Sarasota Counties.
- Public Safety Request: All security gates must be left in the open position. Failure to comply will force Public Safety personnel to use entry methods that may cause further damage.
Ensure your safety—evacuate immediately and follow all instructions from local authorities.

Welcome to our Community
Longboat Harbour is a 300 unit condominium complex located on Longboat Key, an eleven mile long island a few miles off the Florida Gulf coast near Sarasota. We have berths for over 50 boats on the sheltered Sarasota Bay side of the island and enjoy our beach house with restrooms, showers, and parking across Gulf of Mexico Drive on the Gulf side of the island. Other amenities include four swimming pools, a tennis court, a gym, wood shop, art studio, banquet hall, and more.

LbH is not a resort and the office does not handle rentals.
